Robert Pieters
Safety Manager
Robert joined Riley Construction in June 2023 as Safety Manager, bringing 16 years of experience in construction safety roles. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety with an emphasis in Construction.
Born and raised in Burlington, Wisconsin, Robert got his start in construction right after high school and continued working in the industry while attending Whitewater. It was during that time that he began taking safety classes, which led him to pursue a career in construction safety.
Outside of work, Robert and his wife, Laura, keep busy with their three kids, Natalie, Gabe, and Bryce, along with their two dogs, Macy and Bella. He enjoys spending time with family, coaching his kids’ sports teams, snowmobiling, hunting, and cooking.

WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO
No two jobs are the same, and each project brings different challenges. My career has taken me to many different places across the country, and it is always fun to see a building where I worked and remember the people I collaborated with on that project. When I finish a project and still stay in touch with people years later, I know we truly enjoyed working together.
