Mike Borst
IT Manager
Mike joined Riley Construction in March 2014 as IT Manager, bringing a problem solving mindset and a passion for innovation to the company’s growing technology needs. He holds a Network Specialist degree from Gateway Technical College.
Born and raised in Kenosha, Mike has always been curious about how things work. His interest in IT grew from a lifelong love of problem solving paired with the fast-paced evolution of technology. “The constant changes in the tech world keep things exciting and challenging,” Mike said.
Outside of work, Mike has been married to his high school sweetheart, Carrie, for 16 years. Together they have a 14-year-old son and a 11-year-old daughter. He’s an avid movie enthusiast who enjoys cookouts, sitting around the fire with friends and family, catching the latest films in the theater, and traveling.

I love that every day brings new challenges and that I work for a company that values technology and allows me to use my skills to help grow the business. My favorite part is connecting with people, whether it’s collaborating with coworkers or finding solutions that make their work easier.
