Riley Construction originally built the 163,716 SF shell facility for Zilber Property Group in 2017. We later returned to deliver a 28,152 SF tenant improvement for Pretzilla as they consolidated their baking, packaging, and food production operations under one roof.
The upgraded facility now supports Pretzilla’s full production cycle, from dough processing and baking to cooking, packaging, and freezing. It includes a specialized injection room designed for their signature cheese-filled Pretzilla Bites and expanded production areas to increase output of their pretzel buns.
In addition to the interior food-grade improvements, Riley constructed a 14,000 SF building addition to provide new office and maintenance space. The project required significant mechanical, electrical, and plumbing reconfiguration to support Pretzilla’s complex baking processes, along with food-safe finishes and dedicated storage zones for ingredients including flour and oils.
Working within an active business park and a fast-track schedule, our team ensured Pretzilla could begin operations quickly while maintaining strict safety, sanitation, and quality requirements for a modern food manufacturing environment. The result is a highly efficient, consolidated bakery that strengthens their regional presence and supports future growth.
