Riley Construction was selected by Zilber Property Group as the general contractor for a new 501,172 SF warehouse featuring precast concrete walls, floor slab, and a ballasted roof. Located on the outskirts of Janesville, Wisconsin, this build-to-suit facility was designed to accommodate future tenant needs. Shortly after completing the shell, Serta Simmons Bedding chose to consolidate two plants, both located in Rock County, transferring production to a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Zilber once again entrusted Riley Construction with a 33,209 SF buildout, encompassing office space and comprehensive facility upgrades. These enhancements included improved MEPF systems, expanded dock access, and a larger parking lot, all tailored to support the Serta Simmons Bedding’s manufacturing and production requirements. This project is a testament to how a legacy relationship between Zilber and Riley can ultimately lead to an efficient and streamlined construction process.
