Riley Construction partnered with Madison College to renovate the 26,000-square-foot Truax Student Affairs Center and create a more welcoming, student-focused environment. The updated space supports the Student Affairs Advising, Career, and Transfer Center and was redesigned to improve flow, functionality, and comfort for both students and staff.

The project centered on expanding the college’s ability to deliver accessible, high-quality student services. Working closely with the design team and campus leadership, Riley reshaped the existing footprint into a modern setting that helps students connect with the resources they need to move forward in their academic and career paths.

To keep the campus running smoothly during construction, Riley developed a customized phasing plan that allowed the center to remain open throughout the project. This approach supported phased punch list walks and real-time collaboration, which gave the college an opportunity to refine details and incorporate improvements beyond the original scope without disrupting daily activity.

The completed renovation now brings together advising, career development, and transfer services in a cohesive, high-performing space. The result is an efficient, modern environment that supports staff and encourages student success. Riley Construction is proud to help Madison College create a place where students can grow, plan, and achieve their goals.
