The Gateway iMET Center project consisted of a 36,000 square-foot addition and renovation to the Gateway Technical College Manufacturing and Engineering Technology Center. The project has impacted the economy, job growth, and the work environment in southeastern Wisconsin. This project nearly doubled the size of the existing iMET center, providing additional space for new classrooms and lab spaces.

The two-story expansion has provided students with the tools and technology to develop their education in engineering and technological careers. The new space is dedicated to smart manufacturing technology including engineering, advanced manufacturing, information technology, robotics and electronics.
