Riley Construction provided construction management services for the 74,000 SF floor to ceiling demolition and renovation project, the scope included interior demolition of 1958 building with complete new mechanical systems and layout; the renovated building became a specialized “computer high school”. The renovation features 18 classrooms and included interior demolition and a complete new mechanical systems and layout.
As a member of the National Technology Foundation™ (NTF) the school focused on Project-Based Learning that lets students collaborate in teams of four or five to apply course study to real world scenarios and problems. The NTF encourages contribution of best practices, curriculum and tools by all network schools in order to build out the curricular materials and tools for grades 9-12 in the Project-Based Learning library.
